Penn State Fayette to host 60th anniversary celebration

Campus and community celebration set for Dec. 5

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus will host a special celebration on Dec. 5 to honor its 60 years of academic excellence and community impact.

The anniversary event will begin at 5 p.m. and include lantern-lit campus tours, opportunities to connect with former faculty and staff, hot cocoa around the firepit, cookie decorating, live music and catering by The Historic Stone House Restaurant.

“We are proud to celebrate 60 years of Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus — a place where generations of students have discovered their potential, built lifelong connections, and left a lasting impact in their communities,” said Regional Chancellor Megan Nagel. “We welcome back those whose lives have been touched by this campus to celebrate the remarkable work that has taken place here and continues on through our graduates’ contributions to the world.”

Penn State Fayette will close following the spring 2027 semester, making this milestone an important opportunity to honor and celebrate the campus’ legacy.
