UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State community members who serve or have served in the U.S. armed forces are invited to submit a Profile of Service for an opportunity to be featured online and celebrated in the community.

The profiles are a part of the University’s 14th annual Military Appreciation Celebration, which kicks off the weekend of Nov. 8 with a home football game and tailgate.

This year’s Military Appreciation Week runs Nov. 7-14. The week-long celebration will recognize all service members and highlight the extraordinary bravery and sacrifice of those awarded the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military honor.

The profiles may be published on the University’s Military Appreciation website. Individuals are encouraged to share their own stories of service, while loved ones are encouraged to submit a profile on behalf of any Penn Stater who currently serves or has served.

To submit a Profile of Service, visit Penn State’s Military Appreciation website.
