NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Penn State New Kensington will host its 24th annual Undergraduate Research and Student Engagement Expo on April 14. Students are invited to present, while faculty, staff and community members are invited to participate as reviewers and attendees.
The expo will take place from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the campus Athletic Center. It is the largest academic event held on campus and brings together students from a wide range of majors and academic levels.
Established in 2003, the expo highlights research and creative projects developed through coursework, independent study and the honors program. Honors students design their own research projects and select faculty mentors as part of program requirements, while other participants present projects completed as part of their classes.
Student registration to present at the expo is open through Feb. 10. Register as an undergraduate student.
Reviewer registration is open through April 6. Faculty, staff, alumni and members of the campus community are also encouraged to serve as project reviewers. Register as a reviewer.
