UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Lion Surplus will host an e-Cycle event from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, during which Penn State students, faculty and staff can donate electronic devices to be properly recycled.

“Our electronics recycling event makes it easy to dispose of e-waste responsibly,” said Haley Sankey, Auxiliary and Business Services director of sustainability. “By recycling electronics, we keep hazardous waste out of landfills, conserve energy, reduce the need for mining and ensure personal data is handled securely.”

Items accepted for donation include desktop and laptop computers, computer monitors, TVs, desktop printers and copiers, computer peripherals (keyboards, mice, speakers, cables, wiring), cell phones, iPads and tablets.
