Prospective students invited to Penn State Day at Brandywine campus on Oct. 25

Visitation program will highlight academic and co-curricular opportunities

MEDIA, Pa. — Prospective students and their families are invited to attend a visitation program at Penn State Brandywine at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25. The open house will allow attendees to learn about the Penn State admission process and the many options and opportunities available, including academic programs, student life and athletics, career services and on-campus housing in the residence hall. Students and families also will have a chance to tour the campus.

The event is part of the University’s “Penn State Day,” where Penn State campuses host visitation programs during the months of September and October.

Attendees must register in advance. Registration is available through Penn State Brandywine’s website.

The program begins with arrival and registration at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Penn State information session and a faculty and campus resource fair. Self-guided campus tours will be available from 10:45 a.m. to noon.

Attendees are then invited to join Penn State Brandywine’s Homecoming celebration that will begin at noon.

All students who attend Penn State Day, and have not yet applied, will have the $65 Penn State application fee waived.

Penn State Brandywine is located at 25 Yearsley Mill Road in Media. A campus map and directions are available on Brandywine’s website.

Penn State Brandywine is a residential campus offering 14 baccalaureate degree programs that can be completed on campus, as well as the first two years of most of Penn State’s more than 275 academic programs that can be completed at another Penn State campus.
