WYOMISSING, Pa. — Visiting a college campus is the best way for students to determine whether it’s the right place for them, and high school seniors can do just that through the Penn State Berks Spend a Fall Day Information Session, starting at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5. Event check-in will be held in the college’s Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center. This event is only for high school seniors and advanced registration is required by Oct. 28.
High school seniors will explore campus culture, meet student leaders, learn about academic programs, and have an opportunity to get their questions about college planning answered. Event highlights include an interactive campus tour and hands-on activities designed to introduce high school seniors to academic programs and student life. There will be a College Resource Fair where students will have access to admissions counselors, financial aid representatives, and student support services staff who will assist them with the college application process. In addition, there will be a showcase of student clubs and organizations and a student panel.
Meals will be provided for all registered attendees and they will receive a Penn State application fee waiver.
Spaces are limited, and registration is a two-step process. After completing the initial registration form, students will receive a confirmation email. This email includes an event participation form and a code of conduct form that must be completed and signed by both the student and the parent/guardian. Electronic signatures will not be accepted.
