WYOMISSING, Pa. — The Penn State Berks International Klub will host a Holi celebration from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, on Perkins Lawn. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance.
Holi (link is to BBC video about Holi) is the Hindu Festival of Colors that celebrates love, spring and inclusiveness through religious ceremonies, dancing and singing. The Penn State Berks celebration will include colorful fun activities, food, music and color powder throwing (Please note that the powder contains cornstarch: Attendees with allergies or sensitivities to corn should take necessary precautions).
