UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Organizers of the 20th annual Penn State Traditional American Indian Powwow are seeking volunteers to support the free public event, scheduled March 28-29 at C3 Sports Arena in State College.

The Powwow Committee is looking for volunteers to assist in areas such as set up and tear down, kitchen and cafeteria, dance arena and other opportunities. Anyone interested in volunteering for the powwow this year may send an e-mail to volunteer coordinator Bruce Teeple at mongopawn44@hotmail.com to have your name added to the volunteer list.

Again this year, volunteers are being asked to spend four-hour blocks of time as volunteers.

The powwow is recognized as one of the finest family friendly events available in the State College area and has earned a national reputation as one of the finest in the country.
