UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A camp focused on podcasting joins a lineup of popular existing options offered by the by the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications camps designed to serve high-school age students this summer.

The weeklong Bellisario College summer camps, scheduled for July 5-10, are conducted on the University Park campus and are taught by full-time Penn State faculty members, with current Penn State students as counselors.

Along with podcasting, camp options include broadcast journalism, film production, social media and content creator, and visual storytelling.

The hands-on camps allow students age 14 to 18 to work in the state-of-the-art Bellisario Media Center while they explore opportunities in the exciting world of communications and media, and at the same time building a network of peers who share their interests.

The early registration deadline for camps is April 30. However, camps are limited to a small number of campers to ensure individual attention and a quality experience, so some sessions could fill up before then or before the regular deadline on May 31.

More information and registration forms the Bellisario College summer camps may be found on the Bellisario College camps website.
