About the chancellor
Ford became chancellor and dean of Penn State Behrend in 2016 after more than two decades as a faculty member and academic leader at the campus. During his tenure, he has helped advance Penn State Behrend's academic programs, research enterprise and partnerships throughout northwestern Pennsylvania. Ford holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Clarkson University and master's and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona.
