New members join board of directors for Behrend’s Council of Fellows

ERIE, Pa. — Two Penn State Behrend graduates have been appointed to the Board of Directors for the college’s Council of Fellows, which advises Chancellor Ralph Ford and the campus leadership team on strategic direction for the college.

Tiffany Beers, vice president for enterprise innovation at VF Corporation, earned a degree in plastics engineering technology at Behrend in 2002. She began her career at Newell Rubbermaid and then moved to Nike, where she spent more than a decade in the company’s Innovation Kitchen, developing projects like the HyperAdapt 1.0, the Air Yeezy and the Air Jordan 29.

Beers also worked at Tesla and at Logitech, where she was Head of Audio Engineering for Gaming. She partnered with the Olympic champion Allyson Felix to launch Saysh, a women’s footwear brand.

At VF Corporation, she develops products for 10 global brands, including The North Face, Timberland and Vans. She has remained active at Behrend, serving as an Alumni Fellow and as a member of the School of Engineering Board of Visitors.

Brandon McGraw, senior director of global accounting operations for The Knot Worldwide, earned degrees in finance and accounting in 2009. He now oversees accounting for 13 global brands, including The Knot, Hitched and WeddingWire.

He previously worked at GroupM and at Remedy Health Media, where he managed financial reporting for the company’s advertising and subscription business units.

McGraw also serves as president of the Behrend Black Leadership Alumni Coalition, an affiliate programming group that provides mentoring, scholarships and support for Black students at the college.

The Council of Fellows provides insight and advice on matters ranging from strategic planning and academic programs to fundraising and academic affairs. The Board of Directors manages the business of the council, which consists of alumni, business leaders and community members who support the college’s educational, research and outreach missions.
