ERIE, Pa. — Two Penn State Behrend graduates have been appointed to the Board of Directors for the college’s Council of Fellows, which advises Chancellor Ralph Ford and the campus leadership team on strategic direction for the college.
Tiffany Beers, vice president for enterprise innovation at VF Corporation, earned a degree in plastics engineering technology at Behrend in 2002. She began her career at Newell Rubbermaid and then moved to Nike, where she spent more than a decade in the company’s Innovation Kitchen, developing projects like the HyperAdapt 1.0, the Air Yeezy and the Air Jordan 29.
Beers also worked at Tesla and at Logitech, where she was Head of Audio Engineering for Gaming. She partnered with the Olympic champion Allyson Felix to launch Saysh, a women’s footwear brand.
At VF Corporation, she develops products for 10 global brands, including The North Face, Timberland and Vans. She has remained active at Behrend, serving as an Alumni Fellow and as a member of the School of Engineering Board of Visitors.
