ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend men’s tennis team won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference regular-season championship, finishing the season 15-4. The Lions were 8-0 in conference action.

Four of the six singles matches against Penn State Altoona went to tiebreaker sets.
Behrend’s baseball, softball, track and field, volleyball and water polo teams also were in action last week. Here are the scores and highlights:
Baseball

Colin Bolla, a junior from Fairview, pitched his first collegiate no-hitter in the opener against Pitt-Bradford. He struck out 12 batters.
Adam Cooper, a junior from State College, scored the lone run — a solo homer — in the third inning against PItt-Bradford.
Softball

Abby Tingley, a senior from Union City, pitched a one-hit shutout in the opener against Carlow. She struck out five batters in five innings. Karma Malcolm, a sophomore from Beaver Falls, was three-for-three in the opener, with a triple and two RBIs. She had three more hits in the nightcap, earning three runs and two RBIs.
Meghan Swain, a senior from Sugarcreek, Ohio, hit a home run.
Men’s track and field
Alex Cotton, a senior from Saxonburg, won the shot put at the John Homan Invitational at Mount Union. He completed a 15.44-meter throw. He was fifth in the discus with a 44.44-meter throw.
Carter Tobin, a sophomore from Irwin, placed second in the 100-meter race, finishing in 10.72 seconds.
Women’s track and field
Lindsey Hartle, a senior from Pittsburgh, won the 5,000-meter race at the John Homon Invitational at Mount Union. She finished in 18:34. Kelsey Hanna, a freshman from Cranberry, placed second, finishing in 18:36.47.
Bethany Litwiler, a senior from Reynolds, won the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing in 12:28.03.
Men’s volleyball
- Buffalo State 3, Penn State Behrend 0
The Lions placed second at the AMCC championships, falling to top-ranked Buffalo State. The team completes its regular season with a 21-7 record.
Jack Wilcox, a sophomore from Erie, led the team with eight kills in the championship match. Luke Mumpower, a senior from North Huntingdon, had 21 assists, nine digs and two aces.
Women’s water polo

- Connecticut 16, Penn State Behrend 7
- Penn State Behrend 13, Wheaton 4
- Augustana 18, Penn State Behrend 8
Makenzie Rickerd, a junior from Rockford, Michigan, and Susie Carrillo, a junior from Fresno, California, each scored their 100th career goals against Weaton. Monica Villasenor, a junior from San Gabriel, California, made 10 saves.
