ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend baseball team built a 6-3 record during spring break play in Fort Pierce, Florida. The Lions swept double-headers against Northwestern and Marywood.

Pitcher Colin Bolla, a junior from Fairview, earned his 150th career strikeout in the second game against Northwestern. He pitched 4.1 innings, striking out 6 batters.
Ethan Tinker, a senior from Pittsburgh, earned his 100th career strikeout in the second game against Marywood. He threw a complete game, finishing with four strikeouts, five hits and one earned run. Tyler Burick, a sophomore from Erie, hit a two-run home run against Lasell.
The Behrend softball team traveled to Bartow, Clermont and Winter Haven, Florida, building a 6-2 record:

Hannah Smith, a sophomore from Harborcreek, hit a triple in the fifth inning against Beloit. Chloe Nale, a sophomore from Aliquippa, batted 3-for-4 against Ohio Wesleyan, earning four RBIs.

Tamanna Sharma, a senior from Brampton, Canada, won at No. 1 singles against Immaculata, 6-1, 6-1. She partnered with Enisa Siljkovic, a sophomore from Erie, to win at No. 1 doubles, 6-2.
