UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Service members, veterans and military families can request complimentary tickets to Penn State's 2026 Military Appreciation football game beginning at noon Oct. 21, as part of the University's annual celebration honoring the nation's military community.

The Military Appreciation football game will take place Nov. 14, when Penn State will host the University of Minnesota at Beaver Stadium. Military members, veterans and their families also are encouraged to attend the free Military Appreciation Tailgate at the Bryce Jordan Center. The tailgate is open to all who served and their families, even if they choose not to attend the game. Those attending the tailgate will have the opportunity to win special prizes after registering, via QR codes, on the tailgate floor.

Through its partnership with Seats for Servicemembers, Penn State provides service members, veterans and their families with the opportunity to attend the game at no cost. The program is part of the University's broader Military Appreciation events, which celebrate their service, sacrifice and contributions.

This year's celebration marks the 15th anniversary of Penn State's annual Military Appreciation events and commemorates the 35th anniversary of the end of the Gulf War, also known as Operation Desert Storm.
