BRONX, N.Y. — Penn State capped its season with a statement win over Clemson, 22-10, in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl as blue and white confetti fell from the sky at Yankee Stadium on Dec. 27. Penn State threw for 262 yards, and the defense only allowed Clemson 43 rushing yards.
Senior wide receiver Trebor Peña was named the game's most valuable player with 100 yards on five catches, including a 73-yard touchdown.
The Nittany Lions closed out the season with their fourth straight win and the program's 34th postseason victory.
