UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The College of Arts and Architecture at Penn State offers a wide range of summer camps for students interested in exploring the arts and design, including residential and day camp options.
The Architecture and Landscape Architecture Camp, Summer Art at the School of Visual Arts, STATE Musical Theatre Program, and the Blue Band Clinic are open to students in grades 9–12. In addition, the Palmer Museum of Art offers summer camp options for youth ages 7–14.
Camp instructors include College of Arts and Architecture faculty and staff members, as well as graduate students. Instruction takes place on the University Park campus and residential camps may include field trips.
The summer camps are part of the College of Arts and Architecture’s pre-college programs for prospective students interested in the arts and design. The college also offers clinics for percussionists and composers during the academic year.
