UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Pedagogy in Arts and Design (CPAD) in the College of Arts and Architecture will host the AI Builders event, a problem-to-prototype workshop, from 2-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in 113 Borland Building.

The workshop will be based on research design principles and accessible AI tools to support prototype development, guiding faculty, staff and students through AI-related solutions to the problems they face in their teaching and working lives. Anyone from the University community can drop in for a few minutes or the entire program.

The event will include discussions regarding ethics and near future realities in education. CPAD hopes to build a cohort of faculty, staff and students who want to continue developing and sharing their ideas throughout the academic year.

Additionally, CPAD AI office hours will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. starting on Oct. 29. A series of follow-up workshops will be held in the spring and individual consultation meetings can be made by request. Faculty seeking more information or individual consultations should respond to this form.
