Arts and Architecture’s Golumbic Scholarship Exhibition opens March 23

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The 2026 Golumbic Scholarship Exhibition opens on March 23 in Zoller Gallery at University Park, featuring cross-disciplinary works performed or created by 11 students from across the College of Arts and Architecture at Penn State.

An opening reception for the exhibition, which runs through March 27, will take place from noon to 2 p.m.on Monday, March 23.

The Reuben and Gladys Golumbic Scholarship Award is one of the most significant awards in the College of Arts and Architecture, spotlighting excellence in academic disciplines across the college.

The annual award recognizes undergraduate students who have demonstrated their potential for significant contribution to the arts and humanities and focuses on three categories: Design, Performance and Humanistic. The 2026 nominees are:

Design

  • Sophia Lavigna (Architecture), Samantha Joblonsky (Graphic Design), Anushcka Joshi (Visual Arts), Maeve Gorham (Theatre), Kyle Lam (Landscape Architecture)

Performance

  • Olivia Allen (Theatre), Anna Prezioso (Music)

Humanistic

  • Nikolai Dabagian (Music), Maya MeiLin Uchida Knupp (Visual Arts), Jimmy Hunter (Theatre), William Donnelly (Landscape Architecture)
