UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn Staters can now register for We Are Weekend, set for June 20-21 on the University Park campus. The Penn State Alumni Association will host the annual two-day celebration, which reconnects Penn Staters to what they love about the University and typically draws more than 500 alumni and friends.
The full agenda is available online. Early registration is encouraged, as some sessions have already reached capacity. A waitlist is available for all events. Early-bird pricing is available until May 20, with Alumni Association members receiving a registration discount. Non-members can join the association when registering.
Alumni and friends can enjoy events across campus, explore world-renowned facilities and programs, and take part in new experiences. The planned events include a summer solstice celebration at the Arboretum at Penn State — coinciding with summer beginning Friday, June 20 — a silent disco at the Business Building, a happy hour at the Student Farm, and much more.
Additionally, the Class of 1975 will be inducted as Penn State Pioneers during a special ceremony, and a doctoral alumni recognition dinner is scheduled to honor doctoral alumni from the classes of 1975, 2000 and 2015, which have reached their 50th, 25th and 10th anniversaries, respectively,
The family-friendly agenda also includes pickleball and cornhole tournaments, luncheons, campus tours, and commemorative photos at campus landmarks such as the Arboretum, Nittany Lion Shrine, and Hintz Family Alumni Center.
