UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — We Are Weekend is only days away, and there’s still time to join the celebration that’ll kick off summer. Set for June 20-21 on the University Park campus, the celebration helps Penn Staters stay connected to everything they love about Penn State. Alumni Association members can register at a discount.
New offerings feature a happy hour at the Ross Student Farm, complete with mocktails made with fresh produce grown onsite, and a soiree celebration Saturday night at the Arboretum at Penn State.
Time-honored favorites also return, with an ice cream social planned for Saturday afternoon at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. The family-friendly gathering will also include a photo booth, lawn games, Bingo, commemorative photos, and much more. Strike a pose at the Nittany Lion Shrine for a professional photographer on Saturday morning.
Back by popular demand is a silent disco at the Business Building. Bust a move with family and friends, all while listening to a great collection of songs on personal headphones.
