UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State alumni from the August 2024, December 2024 and May 2025 graduating classes are invited to apply to join the 2025-26 class of Young Alumni Ambassadors.
The Young Alumni Ambassadors is a Penn State Alumni Association professional and personal development program that aims to enrich the connections between recent graduates, Penn State, and the global community of Penn State alumni.
The 10-month program, which begins in July 2025, will connect recent graduates with award-winning mentors and distinguished speakers and will feature a mix of in-person and virtual engagement experiences.
The program helps participants develop into confident and capable leaders, who are inspired to increase their own participation and motivate others to stay connected with Penn State and the Alumni Association through volunteerism, membership and active engagement.
Participants can expect to learn more about their personal leadership and communication skills and will be encouraged to apply their talents within their local communities and the larger Penn State community.
Selected candidates can expect to:
- Complete a 10-month program that includes monthly virtual sessions.
-
Participate in Penn State’s Alumni Leadership Conference at the University Park campus in July 2025, featuring exclusive leadership sessions, world-class alumni speakers and University leaders, and hands-on learning and coaching.
-
Acquire a better understanding of themselves by completing a leadership profile.
-
Participate in philanthropic and service projects.
-
Volunteer with an alumni affiliate group and partner with other stakeholders.
