UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Alumni Association will host its 2025 GivingTuesday campaign for Blue & White Society program support. The campaign will support leadership, networking and professional development opportunities available to students through the Blue & White Society, the student arm of the Alumni Association.

GivingTuesday — a global day of generosity celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving — officially begins at 6:55 p.m. on Dec. 1, 2025, and concludes at midnight on Tuesday, Dec. 2. However, alumni and friends are welcome to make their gift at any time, as early donations are now being accepted.

Funds raised through this campaign will directly support hallmark Blue & White Society (BWS) programs that strengthen student engagement and connection to Penn State’s alumni network, including:

  • PS I ❤️ U Week, a campus-wide celebration of Penn State pride and community, featuring events that bring students and alumni together.
  • Dinner and Dessert Reception, which provides students the opportunity to network with young alumni recognized by their academic colleges for outstanding professional accomplishments.
  • Etiquette Dinner, a professional development experience that teaches students dining and networking etiquette to help them succeed in future business and career settings.

C.J. Berger, president of the Blue & White Society, emphasized how these programs have shaped his Penn State experience.

“The Blue & White Society has given me incredible opportunities to connect with alumni and grow as a leader,” Berger said. “Events like the Etiquette Dinner and the Dinner and Dessert Reception have helped me develop skills and confidence that I’ll carry into my future career.”

Cameron Hoffman, vice president of the Blue & White Society, shared how impactful alumni support has been for members.

“When alumni give back, it directly affects students like us,” Cameron said. “Your generosity allows us to host programs that bring the Penn State community together and help students discover what it means to be part of something bigger.”

By supporting the Blue & White Society this GivingTuesday, alumni and friends of Penn State can help empower the next generation of student leaders and continue traditions that make Penn State so special.
