UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Alumni Association has extended its Founders Day membership drive for an additional week after a strong response from alumni and friends. The limited-time offer, which features half-price annual and life memberships, will now run through March 22.

Originally scheduled to conclude March 15, the promotion was expanded to give more Penn Staters an opportunity to take advantage of the special pricing and join the Alumni Association’s global community.

The Founders Day campaign celebrates the anniversary of the University’s founding in 1855 and honors more than 170 years of Penn State pride, connection and service. During the promotion, both annual and life memberships are available at 50% off the regular rate.

Exclusive membership offers include:

  • Annual Membership: Reduced from $50 to $25 (50% off).

  • Life Membership: Discounted from $700 to $350 (50% off).

The special pricing will be available through March 22 at alumni.psu.edu/foundersday.

Membership in the Penn State Alumni Association supports programs and initiatives that strengthen alumni connections, engage students and volunteers, and celebrate the accomplishments of Penn Staters around the world. Members receive a variety of benefits, including access to events, networking opportunities, member discounts, a subscription to the award-winning Penn Stater magazine, and more.

By extending the campaign through March 22, the Alumni Association hopes even more alumni and friends will take advantage of the opportunity to join or upgrade their membership while celebrating Penn State’s long tradition of alumni engagement.
