KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Three student-athletes from the Penn State Altoona men’s basketball team were lauded for their academic accomplishments on July 15 when the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its 2025-26 Honors Court.
Earning spots on the Honors Court from Penn State Altoona were guard Kaden Claar, of Portage, who completed his final year with the Lions in 2025-26 and majored in kinesiology, guard Mason Kargo, of Portage, majoring in accounting, and forward Aidan McCormack, of Yardley, majoring in business with a focus in management and marketing.
The NABC's Honors Court recognizes men's college basketball student-athletes from around the country who achieved success in the classroom. To be eligible, players must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students who finished the 2025-26 academic year with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher.
