ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will welcome prospective students and their families to Penn State Day, its signature fall open house, on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Steven A. Adler Athletic Complex.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the program starting at 9:30 a.m. Guests will follow a structured agenda designed to help them experience Penn State Altoona firsthand and learn more about the college’s academic programs, admissions process, financial aid opportunities, housing options and student experience.
Throughout the day, visitors can meet with faculty, staff and current students, participate in a campus walking tour and explore the resources that make Penn State Altoona a full-service residential campus. The event is an opportunity for students and families to ask questions, discover degree options and see campus facilities in person.
Prospective students interested in communications, cybersecurity, nursing, rail transportation engineering or security and risk analysis also are encouraged to visit Penn State Altoona’s downtown campus. Visitors can explore the nursing simulation lab, communications studios, classrooms and laboratory spaces.
Registration is required. Students and families can learn more and register at the Penn State Day site.
