ALTOONA, Pa. — A group of seven Penn State Altoona students completed their summer research experiences by presenting their findings at the 2026 Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Summer Research Poster Symposium held at University Park on July 30.
Samuel Albright, Tehya Dibert, Bryce Grove, Abigail Hayes, Kurt English, Madison Riva and Ruth Vinu worked with Altoona faculty on a variety of research topics in biology, criminal justice and chemistry.
The symposium was hosted by the Summer Translational Cardiovascular Science Institute and sponsored by the American Heart Association. It brought together over 85 students from six undergraduate research programs. This exhibition showcases the research accomplishments and collaboration of students and faculty from across Penn State.
