ALTOONA, Pa. — Brian Black, distinguished professor of history and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, was the keynote speaker at both the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers convention in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers conference in Manhattan, Kansas.
At each conference, Black discussed infrastructural development and investment in American history and signed copies of his book, "Ike's Road Trip."
