ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will launch a colloquium series on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 12:05 to 1:20 p.m. in the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center. The event will feature a panel discussion on the promise and perils of artificial intelligence.

Panelists include Dave Barnes, teaching professor of information sciences and technology; Nathan Hollister, instructional designer; and John Eicher, associate professor of history.

The colloquium is an opportunity for colleagues to present their work — whether research, creative projects or teaching innovations — and engage in meaningful conversation and Q&A.
