Penn State Altoona invites employers to register for fall career fairs

ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona’s Office of Career Services is encouraging employers to register for its three 2026 fall semester career fairs. These fairs offer the chance to connect directly with over 100 Penn State Altoona students actively seeking part-time employment.

A part-time job fair will take place on Thursday, Sept. 3, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center. Participation is free, but registration is required.

A healthcare career fair will take place on Monday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center. Designed with nursing students in mind, this fair is also open to students from related majors whose skills support the diverse workforce needs of healthcare organizations.

Penn State Altoona’s Fall Career Days will take place Oct. 14-15 in the Adler Athletic Complex.

The event kicks off with a networking reception on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center. This drop-in professional event provides recruiters with an opportunity to meet and mingle with Penn State Altoona students the evening before the fair.

The career fair, open to all majors, takes place on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Arena of the Adler Athletic Complex. The fair is an opportunity to recruit for internships and positions both in a primary focus area and other available roles company-wide. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available.
