ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will host its annual Penn State Day Fall Open House on Saturday, Oct. 4, welcoming prospective students and families to experience the college firsthand.
The day begins with a welcome session covering admissions and financial aid, followed by opportunities to connect with faculty at an academic information fair. Guests can tour labs, residence halls, and recreational facilities, as well as join student-led walking tours of campus. Lunch at the Port-Sky Café and a visit to the campus bookstore are also available.
Visitors are also invited to the Downtown Campus to explore programs in nursing, communications, cybersecurity, information sciences and technology, rail transportation engineering, and security and risk analysis.
Penn State Day offers future students a chance to learn about degree options, support services, and student life at Altoona, a full-service residential campus offering 21 bachelor’s degrees and the first two years for more than 275 Penn State majors.
