ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will hold the Junior Engineers summer camp July 21-25 from 9 a.m. to noon. Designed for children in grades 4-6, the camp includes a week of hands-on activities and engineering.
Campers will learn engineering principles by completing various projects and experiments. They will also design their own pine derby race car using the CNC machine and other lab equipment on campus, then race them on a special track at the end of the week.
