ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will hold a First Responders Day on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Smith parking lot.
Members from several local first responder organizations will be on campus to network with students and showcase some of the new technologies they use.
Interactive activities will run throughout the day, and Pennsylvania State Trooper Joe Dunsmore will speak at 5 p.m. in the Mountain View room of Port-Sky Café. He will talk about the Building Bridges community outreach program, which aims to increase understanding and awareness between law enforcement and citizens.
