ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona faculty members Brian Onishi, associate professor of philosophy, and Jeff Stoyanoff, associate professor of English and of women's, gender and sexuality studies, have released a new episode of their "Horror Joy" podcast. In the latest episode, the hosts continue their summer-camp slasher theme with the 1983 film “Sleepaway Camp.”
Onishi and Stoyanoff are joined by guests Jo Vallese, editor of “It Came From the Closet,” and T, associate professor of women and gender studies, framing the film through queer horror, trans horror and the queer concept of camp.
