ALTOONA, Pa. — As a new academic year begins, Penn State Altoona encourages students, faculty and staff to become recognized as mental health advocates through Suspenders4Hope.
The program is a comprehensive approach to reducing mental health stigma, strengthening connections, improving emotional well-being and encouraging others to seek help. It includes an awareness campaign, an online evidence-based suicide prevention training and a wellness curriculum.
