UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Farmers interested in organic farming can connect with fellow farmers and explore practical strategies for successful organic field crop production during an upcoming Penn State Extension workshop.
The “Grain Crops Organic Twilight Meeting” will occur from 5:30-8 p.m. Sept. 10 at Craig High Farm, located at 23 Ppl Farm Road in Danville.
Designed to encourage discussion and the exchange of ideas, the program supports both experienced and transitioning organic crop growers through a tour of a local organic farm.
Participants will gain insights into organic production practices, learn from shared experiences, and build connections with others interested in advancing sustainable crop management. All farmers are welcome, and certification as an organic operator is not required to participate.

Penn State Extension offers this event at no charge. Organizers note that space is limited, so preregistration is encouraged. The registration deadline is Sept. 10.
