UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Berkey Creamery will transition to cashless transactions, aligning with other venues across the University Park campus.
Beginning Aug. 1, the Creamery will no longer accept cash for purchases. Customers may continue to pay by check, credit card or Apple Pay. Accepted credit cards include Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
The Creamery also will continue to accept Campus Meal Plans, Commuter Meal Plans, LionCash, Valutech gift cards, and prepaid cone and bowl certificates. Special tender and program group cards issued to conference participants, volunteers and other groups also will be accepted.
The change applies only to customer purchases. The Creamery will continue to serve as a drop-off location for bank deposits from other Penn State offices. For more information about the Penn State Berkey Creamery, visit the Creamery website.
