UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Faculty Development and Advancement (CFDA) invites program chairs, graduate program chairs, program directors, professors in charge, faculty and others within the Penn State community who carry responsibilities in academic leadership to the November installment of the SPARK: Supporting Program Advisors through Reflective Knowledge Sharing series.
The virtual session, "Balancing the Schedule: Strategies for Course Scheduling and Enrollment," will be held Nov. 13 from 3-4 p.m. and focus on effective strategies for course scheduling and enrollment management, including aligning course offerings with student needs, managing faculty teaching loads, and ensuring academic program balance across semesters.
The session will be led by Yvette Richardson, senior associate dean for Undergraduate Education, College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, and Greg Filbeck, vice chancellor and associate dean for Academic Affairs and Samuel P. Black III Chair in Finance and Risk Management, Penn State Behrend.
