UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — University holidays for 2025, as outlined in Policy HR34, have been updated on the Penn State Human Resources website and are as follows:
New Year's Day: Wednesday, Jan. 1
Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Monday, Jan. 20
Memorial Day: Monday, May 26
Juneteenth: Thursday, June 19
Independence Day: Friday, July 4
Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 1
Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, Nov. 27
- The Friday after Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, is classified as a "Campus Closedown."
Winter Break: Dec. 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31, and Jan. 1, 2026
