UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Ballot positions for the 2026 election of trustees by alumni were determined on Feb. 27 by a drawing.
Ballots for the trustee election will be available to Penn State alumni beginning on April 20. Additionally, candidate materials will be available by March 6 on the Board of Trustees website at https://trustees.psu.edu/election/.
All alumni who have already requested and received a ballot for the nomination phase of the election will automatically receive the election ballot to their email addresses on file with the University. Alumni also have the opportunity to access the ballot at PennStateVotes.com.
If alumni do not receive the nomination ballot to their email address on file with Penn State, or cannot access the PennStateVotes.com weblink, they can email PennStateVotes@yeselections.com or call 855-393-1152 for assistance.
All voting must be completed by the close of the election at 9 a.m. EST on May 7.
The names of the four candidates for three positions on the board to be elected by alumni, and the order in which they will appear on the ballot, are as follows (year of graduation, college and place of residence also are provided):
- Joseph “Jay” V Paterno, Jr., ’91, LIB, State College, Pennsylvania
- Dr. Joseph S. DeRenzo, MD, ’98, SCI, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania
- Karen Keller, ‘00, SCI, Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania
- Alexandra (Ali) Krieger, ’07, COMM, Montclair, New Jersey
