UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Diversity in Healthcare Conference will return to University Park as it celebrates its fifth anniversary, marking a major milestone in the conference’s growth and impact. Founded by Penn State students, the annual conference brings together undergraduates from across disciplines to explore healthcare disparities and develop a deeper understanding of health equity. Students from all majors are welcome to attend.

This year’s theme, "Preventive Medicine," focuses on three core areas: health education, managing illness, and community mobilization. The full-day event will take place on March 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Heritage Hall, HUB-Robeson Center.

The conference features keynote speakers, case studies, panel discussions, and networking opportunities designed to connect students with healthcare leaders and peers. Complimentary lunch will be provided for all registered attendees. Participants will receive a certificate from the Penn State College of Medicine.

Registration is now open and no cost to students.
