McKEESPORT, Pa. — Penn State Greater Allegheny fourth-year business major Brayden Patton has been named a recipient of the Sigma Beta Delta Annual Scholarship, a competitive national award recognizing academic excellence and leadership among business students.

Patton was nominated by Kenneth Henrie, associate teaching professor of business and faculty adviser of the campus’ Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society chapter.

“Brayden stood out in my mind due to his excellent attitude and participation in class, and his work ethic, and clearly the national scholarship committee agreed,” Henrie said.

Sigma Beta Delta is the international honor society for business, management, and administration students, with chapters across the United States. The organization’s annual scholarships are awarded to select members who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and commitment to the society’s principles of wisdom, honor, and aspirations.
