McKeesport, Pa. — Kuei-Nuan Lin is serving as one of the editors of a new volume highlighting research presented at the 2022 Association for Women in Mathematics Research Symposium.

The book, "Advances in the Mathematical Sciences," includes selected talks and poster presentations delivered at the symposium, held June 16-19, 2022, at the Institute for Mathematics and Its Applications and the University of Minnesota. The collection features contributions from women working across academia, government and industry, representing all stages of the mathematical sciences pipeline.

“I am proud to be one of the editors working to highlight and celebrate the research contributions of women mathematicians in our community,” Lin said.

The Association for Women in Mathematics works to advance gender inclusivity and equitable opportunity in the mathematical sciences while fostering a community in which women and girls can thrive.
