ABINGTON, Pa. — Registration for summer courses at Penn State Abington is open now for students enrolled at any Penn State campus and for students attending other universities and colleges. Most of the 200 courses are offered either synchronously or asynchronously.

“Summer is a great time to take a course that you really want to focus on, especially with our small class sizes," Eva Klein, director of academic services and academic advising manager at Abington, said. "You can get ahead, stay on track to graduate or take a course you need as a prerequisite for your fall schedule. It’s also a path toward graduating sooner."

Summer courses at Abington run the gamut from Artificial Intelligence to business, sciences, and liberal arts. The summer schedule allows students to re-take courses that they may have dropped, make up missed requirements or incomplete credits, or focus on a challenging class.

There are three summer sessions at Abington:

  • Maymester: May 11 to June 8
  • Summer Session I: May 18 to June 26
  • Summer Session II: July 1 to Aug. 12

The summer course guide, calendar, step-by-step enrollment instructions, tuition and other details will help students plan for a productive summer.
