ABINGTON, Pa. — Registration is open for the Penn State Abington open house on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., when prospective students and their families can explore degree programs and the Abington Experience, which helps launch students from campus to career.

Learn about the 25 bachelor’s degrees that can be completed at Abington and the option to begin any of Penn State’s 275-plus majors at Abington and complete their degree at another Penn State campus, including University Park. Visitors will discover how earning a Penn State degree in the greater Philadelphia region helps students build employer-valued skills through the Abington Experience, which includes leadership development, internships, research with faculty mentors, and for-credit academic travel.

Faculty, staff and current students will share academic, professional, and cultural opportunities students can benefit from when they join the tight-knit campus community.

The open house will feature guided campus tours of the new Academic Building, which features a podcast studio, a makerspace, collaborative spaces, and classrooms. Visits to the Lions Gate student apartments will also be available. The Physical Education Building is currently undergoing a $25 million transformation, and it is scheduled to reopen in the fall 2027.

Register now to attend the Oct. 17 open house at Penn State Abington.
