ABINGTON, Pa. — Twelve Penn State Abington faculty members earned promotions in academic rank, effective July 1, 2026, in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments in teaching, research and service.
"Behind every student who walks across the stage to accept their degree at commencement are faculty who believe in them, challenge them, and open doors for them," Abington Chancellor Gary Liguori said. "These promotions honor our faculty as the researchers, teachers and mentors whose work defines the Abington Experience and ensures that our students are ready to lead when they leave our campus."
Faculty work inside and outside the classroom is central to the Abington Experience, the roadmap that prepares students to launch from campus to career through undergraduate research, academic travel, internships and leadership development.
The University-wide list of tenure-line and non-tenure-line faculty promotions is available on Penn State News.
